People don't grow old ~ when they stop growing they become old............Anonymous
According to many sources, Leonard Orr being one, there are 18 living Immortals in southern India at present that he is aware of. These are people that can verify their birth year and are still youthful.
St. Germain is another fairly well known immortal, who is said to have faked his death again and again so no one would become suspicious of his longevity.
In Christian mythology it was said to "eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (duality) we would surely know death. That we began our journey from Spirit descending into material existence and to that state we will return ~ because that is the reality ~ life. Yes Neo ~ there is no death. Energy merely changes form. So to have command of our physical vehicle is to change the frequency of that form to exist at any planes of life. (see the mystery of seven for a description of the planes and bodies.)
No doubt there is much preparation on all levels to remain in a dense physical form at Will. Our attachment to dying, and all that it shows us, finds it's expression in the foods we are drawn to eat, matching the feelings we have about life. IT IS ALL ONE. We can not separate one part of life from another without experiencing an imbalance. The Christ is the major immortal archetype of Christianity.
All belief systems make some reference to immortality.
"In the Hindu philosophy, siddha refers to a Siddha Guru who can by way of Shaktipat initiate disciples into Yoga. A Siddha, in Tamil Siddhar or Chitthar means "one who is accomplished" and refers to perfected masters who, according to Hindu belief, have transcended the ahamkara (ego or I-maker), have subdued their minds to be subservient to their Awareness, and have transformed their bodies (composed mainly of dense Rajotama gunas) into a different kind of body dominated by sattva. This is usually accomplished only by persistent meditation.
The siddhi in its pure form means "the attainment of flawless identity with Reality (Brahman); perfection of Spirit."
Siddhas are the liberated souls. They have completely ended the cycle of birth and death. They have reached the ultimate state of salvation. They do not have any karmas and they do not collect any new karmas. This state of true freedom is calledMoksha. They are formless and have no passions and therefore are free from all temptations. Any attempt to convey the inner meaning of one’s spiritual experiences in conventional language is like "sending a kiss to the beloved by a messenger.
The term "Siddha" comes from the word "siddhi" which means the experience of Siva. Siddhisvara, God of Siddhis, is a name of Siva.
All beings that have taken Jeeva Samadhi are Siddhas. Jeeva Samadhi means dissolving into Light when the tour of duty in a body is done, rather than allowing the body to die. To take the step into Jeeva Samadhi, the Siddhas body is vibrating at such a high and fast frequency it dissolves into Light. This tradition recognizes all beings of all traditions that take Jeeva Samadhi as being a Siddha. This included Jesus the Christ, Mohammad, Elisha, Enoch, Ezekiel, the Buddhists that take a Rainbow Body, Black Elk etc. There are 215 known Jeeva Locations on the planet with 165 in India alone.
As Yogins, the Siddhas are said to have the triple control:
1. The control of breath,
2. The control of the seminal fluid, i.e. the control of all passions, and
3. The achievements of desire-less-ness – we are calling the control of mind.
A Siddha is one who has succeeded in stabilizing these controls in oneself, and maintains equanimity and a sense of equilibrium.
A Siddha is one who has attained siddhi, a special psychic and supernatural power, which is said to be eightfold in the science of yoga.
The eight siddhis are:
1. Anima, the ability to become as minute as an atom;
2. Mahima, the ability to expand infinitely;

Spiritual Initiation; The Path to Divinity
The literal meaning of initiation is a beginning. Every moment we are beginning the rest of our life. Some beginnings are based on what has gone before and some are based on that which we wish to be. It is a truth that humans are self-initiated, and every new beginning takes us closer to the divine being that we are. When describing spiritual beginnings we see that all humans pass through specific initiation as a part of their alignment with their divine nature.
Evolution is a matter of consciousness. Since we were all created perfect, it is our consciousness of that perfection that increases as we walk our spiritual path. Even though we all walk a sovereign path, special to us alone, there are certain initiations of awareness that are common to all. These initiations constitute the path all humans must take to reach the fifth kingdom. These initiations will be described, starting with the moment one realizes that there is more to the world than what meets the eye.
At some point in life, one begins to suspect that there is a presence or meaning to life, which is not apparent on the surface. A possibility is entertained that humans are more than an intelligent electrochemical machine. This feeling instigates a search for a greater human potential. Using research, study, contemplation or emulation, a person aspires to be more than they are. This is the stage of the aspirant. It is the first step towards a greater life.
Eventually enough information is gathered and the aspirant is ready to commit to taking a hand in his spiritual evolution. At this point the greater reality has stopped being a possibility and has become a belief. Once we have allowed ourselves to believe something is possible, a method appears to help us achieve it. Spiritual consciousness is no different. We start seeking methods and disciplines that may help us to bring our belief into being.
This is the stage of discipleship. Whatever modality we choose it becomes the vehicle for our self-realization. This stage could last one lifetime or several, but eventually the effort bears fruit and we are aware of a greater world. When this awareness dawns, it may be for a moment or an hour, but when it’s over the individual will never be the same.
This experience has many names; cosmic consciousness, nirvana, seeing God, being Christ, but however it is described; it is the first initiation into a greater world. Having experienced the Divine first hand, one becomes particularly attached to the mode through which the experience occurred. If a Christian was praying to the Mother when the divine event occurred, it would seem like his prayer was the bringer of enlightenment. If the Druid was hugging a tree, it would seem like a gift from the tree. In each case it is the flowering of the soul, which uses whatever method is available to contact the conscious mind. Each successive divine contact further prepares the nature of the individual for the next initiation and the internal transformation that has begun. It is called the birth experience because the heart has been purified enough to allow the entrance of the Christos; the infant form of Christ consciousness. The Love from God.
After the first initiation, which takes place in the physical consciousness, several lifetimes may be spent to fully integrate the contact with the divine presence. This is partly because of the intense attachment to the particular mode of enlightenment used. Eventually, another event will occur.
Using the example of the Druid and the Christian, they may pass each other on the street. For a moment they look into each others eyes and recognize the consciousness in the other that they possess. This is the beginning of the second initiation. It takes place in astral consciousness but still in the physical body. It has been called the Burning ground, the Void and the Baptism. It is a baptism by fire that burns away all that pertains to the separated self. At this stage discipleship becomes focused intent. Glamor, pride, illusion and separation become adversaries to defeat. All those who helped, supported or loved us can not help us at this stage. It is to enter a darkness, which can only be lit from within. It is a stage when only the resolve of our spiritual intent and our indwelling divinity can see us through. All seven subplanes of the astral plane must be contacted and empowered. It is the Christ child learning to function. The heart “bleeds” and makes room for the growing Christos. It is also a time of high attrition. Because of this intensity, “if this time was not short no flesh would be spared” when the second initiation is entered upon in a particular life, the third initiation is usually taken in the same lifetime.
This stage is particularly difficult for the second and sixth ray person because of the intensity of the feeling nature.
With the relentless application of release and intent, the third initiation is entered. From the angle of the fifth kingdom, the third initiation is actually the first. It signifies the leaving of the human realm and the entrance to the spiritual. It amounts to the transforming of the seven astral subplanes into channels
for/of light. This initiation must also be taken in a physical body to demonstrate spiritual consciousness on the physical plane. But the consciousness itself is operating on the mental plane where the initiation is taken.
Where the astral plane is the plane of thought and feeling, the mental plane is of knowledge and intuition. The second degree initiate holds the astral miasma at bay by an effort of the will but the third degree initiate is no longer swayed by physical or astral phenomenon. Work goes on under the direction of higher initiates and masters and in accordance with the initiates’ own perception of the divine plan. Fourth dimensional vision is developed if not already done, and learning is accelerated by tapping into third and fourth plane frequencies. Working with causal matter and thought form building take on practical uses in the life of the initiate. Accelerated evolution makes it possible to take the fourth initiation in the same lifetime.
This initiation is taken on the Buddhic plane, the fourth plane of unconditional Love. It also must be taken in a physical body to demonstrate Divine consciousness on the physical plane. Again service takes place on a higher level. There is more intimate cooperation with the World Teacher, the Lord of the world, and the planetary and solar Logos. When the Bodhisattva was crucified on the cross and rose from the dead, he was demonstrating the fourth initiation. By showing his wounds, he made it clear that it was the physical body that was resurrected. At the fourth initiation the spiritual Monad eliminates the vehicle of the soul and makes direct contact with the physical body. This immortalizes the physical body. The fourth initiation is called the crucifixion, and demonstrates complete control over the first three planes of life. The fourth plane, the buddhic, which is the plane of unconditional Love, is the major focus of activity. The fleshy part of the physical body is generally discarded at this initiation because the initiate is training in holding Presense on the physical plane in a purely energetic form. The fourth degree initiate is also called an adept. A fully Christed consciousness. The adept functions not as an individual, but as a cosmic principal of force. Although individual identity is never lost.
The fifth initiation signifies a ”Master”, also known as a Chohan. This is the experience of the One Life on the fifth or nirvanic plane. The fifth initiation signifies the total blending of the spiritual Monad with the physical personality. It is called the resurrection because the entire physical body has been recreated in a immortal form, free from space/time limitations.
The entity, who holds the office of the Christ, has taken the sixth initiation and is called a Maha Chohan. When the seventh is taken the office of world teacher will be vacated and filled by K.H., the Maha Chohan that is next in line. There are seven initiations available in this evolutionary round before we move to the next quantum state. We enter the light but never touch the flame. Evolution, like existence, is infinite.
